AMFA Leads Industry in AMT Wages

Thanks to our hard-won new contracts for both Southwest and Alaska AMTs, AMFA now leads the industry in hourly wages for union-represented airlines.

It is great to see our members’ value represented in the contracts we worked hard to negotiate. Our AMTs are passionate experts and we’re proud of the position we have helped them obtain.

Back in May, Southwest AMTs ratified their new contract after almost seven years of negotiations, which Bloomberg Law described as “single-handedly responsible for a boost in union-negotiated wages with lump sums.” This July, Alaska AMTs voted in a transition agreement which included benefit enhancements, a ratification bonus, and a two-year extension to the collective bargaining agreement.
