Breaking News: House Passes Sweeping FAA Reauthorization Bill.

“On behalf of the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA), we applaud the leadership of the House passing the bipartisan Securing Growth and Robust Leadership in American Aviation Act (H.R.3935). As the only craft-specific union representing Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs), FAA reauthorization is one of our top priorities, at AMFA. This bill addresses several shortfalls faced by our members and the flying public” said AMFA National President Bret Oestreich.

The bill reauthorizes the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for five more years . It also reflects the hard work of bipartisan negotiations and extensive stakeholder input.
